Job Description
Our client is a family owned community bank that just
keeps growing and growing, and that growth has led to
their need to bring on board a Vice President Loan Review
Officer.
This role had previously been outsourced but now needs to
come in-house. This position will develop, implement and
monitor the Bank’s Internal Loan Review Program and will
analyze loan files for credit quality, impairment,
sufficiency of documentation, and consistency with the
bank’s written loan policy. It is the responsibility of
the Loan Review Function to provide early identification
of loan problems and summarize the results. This
individual will prepare reports on the results of reviews
and communicate the information to management and the
Board of Directors.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or
university in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or
related field; or the equivalent combination of education
and experience. Advanced experience, knowledge and
training in loan review, loan operations, terminology,
products and services. Prior experience in loan review is
also required. Preferred qualifications include12+ years
of direct industry experience and/or prior experience as a
regulatory examiner (FDIC, Federal Reserve, etc.)
