Job Description
Our client is a leader in several industries and they are
looking for a strong Director of Financial Reporting.
The best candidate for this role will have a strong
background in SEC reporting and be highly proficient at
researching emerging accounting issues. Knowledge of
derivatives, stock-based compensation, debt and equity
transactions, and debt covenant compliance reporting are
key to success in this role. We are also looking for that
rare person with excellent technical skills but also very
personable, especially as they work with and manage their
staff. Our client highly values a combination of both
public accounting and several years of industry,
preferably in an SEC reporting capacity.

Requirements
The following qualifications are key to success in this
role: BS or BA in accounting required, MBA preferred;
CPA, with Big 4 public accounting experience required;
10+ years of progressively responsible experience
including recent SEC reporting experience within a
publicly-held company; Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP
and SEC reporting requirements; Working knowledge of the
Sarbanes-Oxley Act and its requirements; Demonstrated
experience leading an accounting/reporting team.
